They just had a Keynote. Is the next one for Macbooks? I think it’s called MacbookPro Expo or something like that.
You are thinking of MacWorld and it’s held in San Francisco at the beginning of January.
Apple usually attends but is is organized by MacWorld magazine, not Apple.
Apple just held a “Special Event”, where they released a few new iPods. It was not a keynote.
A keynote is main speech/presentation at a conference or exposition type of event.

Family of Oscar Grant Gives SoCal Press Confrence on BART Police Officer Murder Trial
Opening statements were held in a Los Angeles courtroom Thursday in the highly anticipated murder trial of former Bay Area Rapid Transit police Officer Johannes Mehserle, who fatally shot unarmed passenger Oscar Grant III in Oakland last year.
Several BART officers were responding to a fight on a train, and Mehserle’s defense attorney, Michael Rains, said the 28-year-old defendant was reaching for his Taser stun gun but grabbed his gun instead when he shot Grant, a 22-year-old Hayward resident, on New Year’s Day 2009.
Prosecutors said Mehserle intended to shoot Grant, and he used his gun because officers were losing control of the situation.

The season is over so what are the top 3 teams in each confrence going to be?
My top in the west will be the Lakers,Rockets,Nuggets. In the East the Celtics,Magic,and the Bulls. Yep I said it the Bulls!
I agree with your west although im not sure if the spurs wil sign another scorer and recover but it seems fairly accurate as the spurs are aging, the lakers are hitting their stride, as is denver with all their talent and fun play, and the gritty hard nosed rockets who with their defense and solid play wil be in contention with the other 2 if healthy.
In the east the bulls played great in the playoofs and since they are rumored to get a goot post scorer and hopefully resign ben gordon they will be very good. With bosh or amare to compliment their post hustle players like noah and tyrus thomas and to open the floor for a must resign ben gordon and salmons as well as derrick rose, and a solid brad miller they will contend.
However i believe they will be behind cleveland because of cleveland defensive prowess, which chicago unfortunatley does not yet have the experience to devlop and the fact that cleveland will msot likely plug the offensive weakness that ruined their season by signing anotehr perimeter scorer like vince carter and a big man, like shaq if they are lucky, as well as instead of vince carter so they can affort shaq. WIth more scoring they will be able to both defend and score with the best and that all around prowess is tough to beat.
I agree with orlando as well as they will continue to improve offensively and howard will learn enough moves to really maek their system work. Also, having jameer nelson healthy gives them scoring and another option than post and shoot, the kick and drive method which is more useful at the end of a tight game, as many of the magic have diffictuly maufactering their own shot.
I feel like the celtics will be the best in the east if healthy, because they are solid, and play cleveland great defense, have the msot toughness and fight, and also have an equal to orlando’s flashy offense in their well rounded attack that with luck will include at any time and with any combo, perkins in the post as well as garnett and davis in post or perimeter, rondo penetration as well as pierce penetration, ray allen space, drives and spot up jumpers, marbury penetration if he resignes and so on.
They are gritty and are a complete team with old and young talent and skill, depth when healthy, intelligence, adn defense, and will qualify as the best east teams.
this list has a few variables like the rockets and bulls, who may stay as they are in this list becasue of improvement, or face injuries like the rockets or a resurgant spurs team with new additions. The bulls may also be routed by cleveland if they sign another scorer, or they may fail to improve.
still, interesting list and predictions, looking forward to watching a healthy hungry celtics next year.

tough contention in east next year, harder in west too hopefully, im sick of the lakers getting to cruise while everyone says west is harder.
Once in the playoofs the west is just filled with 2 or 3 good teams, the great lakers lol, and a bunch of borderline playoff teams that are overrated.
THe east has 3 legit and according to you predictions and possible trades 4 legit contenders in the top tier and then 4 crappy teams.
My words dont show up in a confrence on yaho messenger?
When I am in a conference on yahoo messenger.People tell me that my words are’nt showing up,but I can read thier words.Whats going on
You may have scripting disabled in your Internet Explorer.
To enable scripting:
Click the "Tools" menu on your Internet Explorer toolbar and select "Internet Options."
Click the "Security" tab.
Click the Internet (globe) icon and click the "Custom Level" button.
Scroll down to "Scripting."
Enable the following:
* Active scripting
* Allow paste operations via script
* Scripting of Java applets are all enabled
Click the OK button at the bottom of the window.
Note: Restart Yahoo! Messenger and you should start seeing text in your IM windows again.
If that does not fix your problem then You need to uninstall messenger Completely so you can get rid of the corrupted file that is causing your problem and get a clean install.
When you uninstall not all of the yahoo messenger files are deleted from your Program Files, so if the problem you are having is caused by a corrupted file then the problem will still be there when you install it again.
So what you need to do is uninstall messenger then go to your Program files and delete the yahoo folder. This will get rid of all remaining files especially the corrupted ones.
To find and delete the Yahoo folder click on the START button in your task bar then on My Computer then C: drive then Program Files then right click on the Yahoo folder and Delete it. It’s a good idea to reboot your PC now to make sure it’s all gone out of your system.
Now you can go here > http://messenger.yahoo.com/ and get the 8.1.0.421 yahoo messenger.
I suggest staying away from the 9.0 beta as the 8.1 version is more stable and does not have the bugs the beta version has!
