He is clearly doing an amazing job under incredible pressure. He stopped the bush economic freefall and saved us from a great depression. He made peace with the middle east and saved us from a pending nuclear attack. He is cracking down on the big business scam artists and corporate tax cheats. He is amazing. I get tears streaming down my cheek watching his press confrences. We should put him on the 100 dollar bill. God has blessed us with President Obama.

U know i was jus watching CES 2009 vids. I really wish I could join ppl in CES for 2010! Anyways, does anybody know that how we can go to CES or other Press confrences!!!! I mean… without being a press embassador!

The way i see it New Orleans owes it to the people of Houston to switch their football team from the NFC South to the AFC south. The Texans currently sit in one of the most difficult confrences in the league while the WSaints enjoy a much easier route. So the Question stands: Do they owe it to us because of our help with Katrina?

We took in part of their poverty-stricken population when no one else would (around 250,000 to 500,000)
We donated resources, time, money, ect.
We haven’t, until now asked for anything in return
We have also dealt with a 15% increase in crime rate b/c of the added people.

Is this too much to ask? just a little switch lol
this question is not meant to offend, if you are offended take a deep breath and think some more.
i have donated both time and money to the cause, and i expect nothing in return. This is a lighthearted question calm the hell down.

I definitely think the city of NO owes Houston a debt of gratitude. You all have put up with a lot!!

As a Colt’s fan though, I like Houston being in our division. I like the Texans. Just think of it this way, your team did pretty darn good getting to .500 in such a strong division.

How did the US WWII military, strategic and diplomatic decisions contribute to the cold war?

(Im okay for the diplomatic side, i have the Cairo, Tehran, Moscow, Yalta, Potsdam confrences coverd. Im looking more on the military and strategic side)

The goal was to win the war and to that end the lend lease act which provided Russia with weapons that helped them win their fight against German troupes. (but you have to admit they made the best tank of World War II all on their own) Some said we should not have helped Russia at all because of the secret agreements Russia had with Germany before the war. In short by providing military equipment to Russia we gave them technical knowledge that helped them to be a military force that had to be reckoned with. From a political stand point this gave them the ability to hold and control the regions they took control of during the war providing them with resources.
